We choose products for long-term performance and low callbacks. In practice, that means we install brands that have shown consistent build quality, low failure rates, and good field support. For example, we prefer RAB, Maxim, and Cooper for lighting, Schneider Electric for panelboards and breakers, King Wire for SER service entrance cable, and Briggs & Stratton for standby generators because of their track records. Choosing reliable brands, installing them correctly, and inspecting connections during installation are the largest factors in long-term reliability.
